Our lovely weekend

On Friday morning Amelia appeared to be fine, she ran around laughed, played just like any other day. Then at 11:30 she comes down with severe stomach pain. Now me being the great mother that I am said ah your just hungry, eat a cracker and you'll be fine. She tries to eat one, but only gets one bite in when I turn around and look at her and the color in her face was completely gone. I was like oh no she's sick. She immediately starts throwing up and so I put her in the bath to clean up. The whole time she is still complaining that her stomach hurts. She gets out of the tub and she can't stand or walk because of the pain and so I called the doctor and they say to take her immediately to urgent care. So we take her, they run a few tests, took some X-rays and see that she has a lot of stool in her stomach. Gross I know. So we have to go home and do a suppository and an over the counter enema. We do all those things and she is still in pain and so we call the doctor again and they tell us to take her to Primary Childrens and have her checked out. By the time we get there she is running a high fever and has started throwing up again. We were like great she is really sick. This by the way is 6:30 in the evening. We get back into a room and wait FOREVER they run the million dollar check up on her. What's that you ask well it's blood work, urine work, 2 CT scans, more X-rays, and ultra sounds. Finally by 3:00 a.m. they find that she has a urinary tract infection that has gone to her kidneys. They admit her so that she can be loaded up with fluids and antibiotics. So on Saturday at 4:00 pm we are finally released from the hospital and able to go home. It was one heck of a weekend, but we are grateful for the good results and the good nurses and doctors that took such good care of her. Also thank you to all the family and friends that came and brought her little presents to make her feel better. They sure did help! She is feeling much better and is back to her little old self again!

Growing up too Fast!

I can't believe that my baby boy is already 10 months old! That went by way too fast. We have enjoyed having him be a part of our family. He is very good natured and is smiling most of the time. In public, he is always looking around just so he can catch peoples eye and give them a big smile. The things that he has accomplished the past 10 months are well..... sitting up... and that's it. He is charming and lazy at the same time! No crawling, standing up nothin', were not to worried about it, he'll figure it out before he's 10 years old. His latest new trick is playing peekaboo. He gets such a kick out of it. What a silly boy.

Mr. Wizard

We lizard sat Amelia's friend Andrew's lizard while he was on vacation. She loved this little lizard. She couldn't say the "L" so she would call him mr. wizard or alligator. This is a picture of her playing ponies and princesses with the lizard. She was so sad when she woke up this morning and mr. wizard had gone home. She announced that she wanted a lizard like Andrew, but she wanted hers to be pink.

Pocatello, ID

We went to Pocatello last weekend to visit Justin's brother and sister-n-law. We visited the little zoo . There weren't very many animals to see but the bears were the coolest because we were literally this close to them, there is no zooming involved. They were very active and so we stayed and watched them for a really long time.
Amelia loved the petting zoo that they had. They only had goats in the petting part but she loved them. The last picture is of Ezra looking at the goats. He liked them too, but I wouldn't let him touch them!

The kids had so much fun swimming in the hotel pool. Ezra loves to splash and thinks it's so funny when his head gets wet. Amelia mastered swimming in the BIG pool without holding on to someone. We bought her a life jacket and by the end of our trip she didn't even have to hold on to the noodle she got it down.

This is a picture of Ezra with Justin's Great Grandma Hoots. That's right I said GREAT. She 's an amazing woman that loves all on her own. She is sharp as a whip and she 's so fun to visit with.

The trip made the kids so tired this is a picture of Amelia sleeping in style.

Disney Land Vacation

About a week ago our little family went to Disney Land for the first time. We were able to go with my family and we had a great week. Here is a few pictures from our vacation!
Amelia's highlight of the whole trip was seeing the princesses. Her favorite is Cinderella!
Here is a picture of Nana, Marley and Amelia on the caterpillar train. Amelia is a little nervous but Nana and Marley are having fun!
Amelia was obsessed with finding leaves, bugs and birds. Here is a picture of her finding something on her finger.
Ezra was just trying on some shades.
Here is a picture of our family in front of the mickey mouse grass at the entrance of the park.

Here is Amelia with Minnie Mouse. Minnie kissed her head and for hours after seeing her she would say Minnie kissed my head right here. She loved it! This is a picture of Ezra watching the parade. What is he watching so intently well scroll down to see!Already ALL Boy!!So we have the best stroller ever to take to Disney Land. Both girls could sit or stand and Ezra's car seat was behind them. His highlight (besides seeing Ariel) was kicking the back of the girls head. He thought it was hilarious. Finally here is a picture of Amelia's favorite ride. Who knew we could have just gone to the mall and rode the carousel there and she would have been just has happy! That's a 3 year old for ya!

The kids had such a blast swimming at the hotel. Ezra loved kicking and splashing. He couldn't get enough of it!

Ezra's surgery

As some of you know Ezra was born with skin tags by his ear. It was something the he inherited from the Payne side of the Family. (I just wanted to make that clear) Anyway we had them removed on Monday. We had to be a Primary Children's at 6 am. He finally went into the operating room by 7:30 and was out in about 1 hour. He did great and we are excited for his stitches to be removed next Tuesday! Here is a picture before his surgery.
Getting ready to go to the hospital!
A picture after his surgery.
