Christmas photos

This was the picture that I loved and wanted to use for our Christmas cards but it didn't work with our other pictures so I decided to post it for everyone to see.

Silly things kids say

So Amelia and Ezra have been fighting nonstop. Ever since Ezra started walking he has had this new found freedom where he feels he needs to hit his sister every chance he gets. Well of course Amelia hits him back and so here is the convo I had with Amelia about hitting her brother.

me: Amelia you really need to not hit your brother BACK he is just a little baby and you are a big girl.

Amelia: Oh okay I get it we just hit his front!
I couldn't possibly be saying don't hit him at all!

Here comes Santa Clause!!

This was the highlight of Amelia's life. She was so excited to see Santa. She had a huge list of things to ask for, but she got up there and froze. She had to look to me for all the answers it was so cute she kept asking me want do I want? Then a few hours later she remember that she forgot to ask for Wonder Pup and was very distraught about it. I'm wondering because she didn't ask Santa for it, does that mean Santa doesn't have to get it for her?!? Her list gets longer everyday! It's fun to have her finally get it.

Here is Santa coming to visit the kids.

Amelia was so excited to see him she could barely eat her food.
Amelia telling Santa everything that she wants for Christmas!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Here is our Christmas Tree this year. It gets redecorated just about everyday. Ezra loves to take the decorations off and throw them like balls. Then he eats the broken glass.Yes that's right he eats it, because absolutely everything goes in his mouth. He has done this many times and the only reason I know is because he is crunching down on the broken glass as happy as could be. Should I be worried? Yea he's weird we know.

Happy Fall!!

So Halloween morning Justin is getting ready for work and right before he leaves he tells Amelia that he will see her at work for trick or treating. So he leaves and Amelia asks me what daddy was going to be for Halloween. I tell her a nerd, because he won't have to dress up much. (haha I'm hilarious I know) anyway she tells me no he is going to be a ladybug. I said oh really( that's way better then my nerd idea.) So I ask her if he told her that or if she made it up herself. She said no Jesus told me! He best be dressing up like a ladybug, it's revelation from Jesus.

Here are pics of the kids dressed up. Amelia is a 50's girl and Ezra is a Greaser!

Here are pictures at the pumpkin patch. This was the first year that we actually went to one. It was really fun the kids loved looking at all the pumpkins and choosing the right pumpkin.
Here we are carving our pumpkins. I can't believe how much fun they had scooping the junk out of the pumpkins. It was lots of fun! Oh and don't mind those dirty faces, some of the pumpkins guts might of made it in the mouth, but what doesn't?

Amelia had her Halloween dance party. She was so excited to wear her costume to dance. They had so much fun!

We went to Gardener Village to see the Witches over UEA Weekend. I will NEVER EVER do that again. We got some good pictures of Amelia with some of the witches. I didn't dare take Ezra out of the stroller in that zoo of people so I don't have any pictures of him. Amelia had fun with the scavenger hunt trying to find all the witches.

New little cousin

This is a late post, but the picture was so cute that I had to post it. We went up to Pocatello a few weekends ago for our new little cousin Olivia. Here is a picture of all of them posing for a cute picture. I love this one because they are all smiling!

Our Garden!

This was the first year that we planted a garden. We had so much fun this summer watering and picking things from our garden. We actually got Amelia to try things that she wouldn't normally eat, but because it came out of the garden she tried it!
Here is the kids sitting by the BIG watermelon that we grew!

Amelia's 1st day of School!

It's official I have a child in school, okay not "real" school as Justin calls it, but in preschool. Amelia is so excited to be in school she could hardly see straight this morning. She was trying to convince me that the only way to get to school was on the bus. She wants to be such a big girl. She told me this morning that she was too big for her new school clothes. As you can tell by the pictures her clothes did fit her, the problem isn't that she is too big for her clothes, but that her clothes are too big for her. I mean why would a 31/2 year old fit into a size 3T. Thank goodness for adjustable waist clothes!

Ezra's 1!!

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. We have enjoyed having him as part of our family. He is such a silly boy that he is always making us laugh. Here are a few pictures of him at his little party.

This is the picture that we sent to Good Things Utah to celebrate his first birthday. At the end of each episode they show pictures of all the first birthday baby's in Utah.

He was not happy to have his party hat on the second we put it on him he started to cry. When he took it off he was happy as a cat just playing with it.
Here is a picture of mom and the birthday boy!

We played some water games. Here are some pictures of the kids playing dribble dribble drench and a water relay. They had lots of fun getting wet even if it was freezing outside.

These are some cute pictures of Ezra making his way to the pool and looking in only wishing that he could get wet at his own party. It was way to cold because we choose the one day of the summer that it rains uncontrollably to have a water party! It's just our luck!

Here is Ezra practicing his walking. He'll be walking before we know it!

A picture of the birthday cake and all the kids gathered around to help Ezra blow out his BIG 1 candle.

Ezra started out eating the cake very delicately but then ended up making a huge mess and he even needed two pieces!

Ezra was so cute opening his presents. He made an excited face ofter each present that was opened. Thank you to all the present opener helpers there were quite a few! and thank you to all our family and friends that came to celebrate this special day with us, it would not have been the same without you guys!!

The little birthday boy was so exhausted that he couldn't even make it to his bed before he crashed in his highchair. That's what happens when you have to much partying!

Our lovely weekend

On Friday morning Amelia appeared to be fine, she ran around laughed, played just like any other day. Then at 11:30 she comes down with severe stomach pain. Now me being the great mother that I am said ah your just hungry, eat a cracker and you'll be fine. She tries to eat one, but only gets one bite in when I turn around and look at her and the color in her face was completely gone. I was like oh no she's sick. She immediately starts throwing up and so I put her in the bath to clean up. The whole time she is still complaining that her stomach hurts. She gets out of the tub and she can't stand or walk because of the pain and so I called the doctor and they say to take her immediately to urgent care. So we take her, they run a few tests, took some X-rays and see that she has a lot of stool in her stomach. Gross I know. So we have to go home and do a suppository and an over the counter enema. We do all those things and she is still in pain and so we call the doctor again and they tell us to take her to Primary Childrens and have her checked out. By the time we get there she is running a high fever and has started throwing up again. We were like great she is really sick. This by the way is 6:30 in the evening. We get back into a room and wait FOREVER they run the million dollar check up on her. What's that you ask well it's blood work, urine work, 2 CT scans, more X-rays, and ultra sounds. Finally by 3:00 a.m. they find that she has a urinary tract infection that has gone to her kidneys. They admit her so that she can be loaded up with fluids and antibiotics. So on Saturday at 4:00 pm we are finally released from the hospital and able to go home. It was one heck of a weekend, but we are grateful for the good results and the good nurses and doctors that took such good care of her. Also thank you to all the family and friends that came and brought her little presents to make her feel better. They sure did help! She is feeling much better and is back to her little old self again!

Growing up too Fast!

I can't believe that my baby boy is already 10 months old! That went by way too fast. We have enjoyed having him be a part of our family. He is very good natured and is smiling most of the time. In public, he is always looking around just so he can catch peoples eye and give them a big smile. The things that he has accomplished the past 10 months are well..... sitting up... and that's it. He is charming and lazy at the same time! No crawling, standing up nothin', were not to worried about it, he'll figure it out before he's 10 years old. His latest new trick is playing peekaboo. He gets such a kick out of it. What a silly boy.
